Merdeka! Merdeka! Merdeka!

"Merdeka! Merdeka! Merdeka!"

As a Malaysian, of cox have to shout a bit la! Well, we did not have countdown here in Sheffield, I didn't even remember to countdown for both Malaysia time and UK time. I was too busy with my work at my working place just now in the afternoon and also when talking to Aunty Ruth.

But we should not just shouting merdeka for the sake of independence day which had been done 5o years ago, and also look backward to the victory. But to look forward for more battles in life to gain more victories!

Everyday in our lives, every sin we repent, we win another victory in life. Through Jesus Christ, we can win the battles in life no matter how many obstacles evil placed. Praise to the Lord! Amen!

My pet, when becoming moth (Oh no!!!!)

This picture taken by Yuling, shown before it became moth. It had already got the shape to become a moth? a butterfly? We were guessing in this stage. That time we didn't know the caterpillar took from vege is normally moth!

Yuling said it's hairy, errrkkk~~! By the way, I've already forgoten when was it became moth, and also how long it took from a caterpillar to a moth. But!... but... I've got a new caterpillar today from Ah Foo in Tai Sun. The caterpillar this time is aggresive. It was trying to stand up!!! Wow...~ can send it to circus, muahaha!

Cart-wheel Demonstrated at Grave Park, Sheffield

Funny, I didn't do it for such a long time. Thank God I still manage to do it. My father used to proud of me by managing to do the cart-wheel. I even demonstraed in a CNY Reunion Dinner to his fellow colleagues when I was 6 years old. Gosh!

Picnic at Grave Park, Sheffield- 6 August

This is what we had for our picnic at Grave Park - rice cooker full of Thai fragrant rice, roasted duck and chicken as well as longan from Kong Heng Chinese Supermarket. Haha...! What an oriental style of picnic we had!

When Aunty Ruth is playing guitar, a British teenager walked by and stop with his friends. He said hi to us and praised Aunty Ruth can play guitar well. He actually asked Aunty Ruth to play a song for him. Then she played a Christian song for him. Thereafter, he thanked and walked away.

After a few minutes, he brought over his girl friend and 2 other friends to us. He introduced his girl friend to us and wanted Aunty Ruth to play a song for them. Not again...~~ Aunty Ruth played a few songs, and he kept asking us to play more. Then Aunty Ruth passed the guitar to Choau Choak to play more songs. He played a few Christian song, and we all sang together for them. It's good to share the Christian songs with them.

We rarely have chance to talk to such a group of teenagers like them in British. Because most of them look "unfriendly". I was being teased once when I was walking passed a group of young teenagers in the city. Well, I said most, but not all of them. May God shine His merciful on them.

Cycling at Parsley Hay

Sunday evening, walking with chee ming to meet Chaou Choak at Sheffield train station, then we took a train to meet Aunty Ruth in Chesterfield. We arrived at Chesterfield train station around 8.50pm, but Aunty Ruth will only able to meet us at 9.30pm. We should have take later train but it would take around 30 min to reach chesterfield instead of 15min as asual. So we decided to arrive earlier in Chesterfield to wait for another 40 min.

Thank God for the waiting time, so that Chaou Choak and I were searching info leaflets at the kiosk and found the cycling info leaflet!

We had a home-cooked dinner in Aunty Ruth's house. We all were startving, and when the time we finished the dinner was already around 11.30pm. Gosh ... and then Aunty Ruth was asking us what did pastor preached in the morning ... when Chaou Choak was telling Aunty Ruth what about. I felt into sleep on th sofa in dining room. I was so tired as I did not take any nab in the afternoon after came back from church, blame lizhi!

Next day, early in the morning, after we took our breakfast, we plan what we should have for our picnic later on in Parsley Hay. Then Aunty Ruth searched all the stuff in her cupboard to look for anything possible to cook for later picnic. We found vermicelli and spagetti. We decided to fry vermicelli and the meat balls. Chee Ming, Choau Choak and I prepared the ingredients and fry our lunch. Aunty Ruth was trying to cook but we chased her away to go for her shower.

The taste not as expected because the vermicelli made the whole cooking tasteless. But Chee Ming found chilli oil in Aunty Ruth's cupboard, muahahaha!!! ... Hmm, good, it helps a lot. When we were having our cooking, pastor called and asked us where we going later, as the day was Bank Holiday, public holiday for all England. We told pastor our plan and he said he will ask his son whether want to go or not.

11am, we went on our journey to Parsley Hay. I will be dizzy if i read in the car, and Aunty Ruth asked me to read map for her since I sit in front. Gosh...! I was dizzy all my way to Parsley Hay. It was a traffic jam along the way from Chesterfield to Bakewell, as there was a festival in Bakewell, and a lot of people heading to Bakewell. It took us about 2 hours to reach Parsley Hay. The weather was awesome! Pastor reached there 15 min after we arrived, he was quick! As he avoided the traffic jam in Bakewell. Smart him!

When we reached Parsley Hay, there is no more bicycle for rent as it's all out. So they asked us to come back at 2pm and see whether anyone return the bicycle. We got it finally at 2pm!!! Thank God. Only Choau Choak, Chee Ming, Nataniel and I went for cycling. Pastor, Si mu and Aunty Ruth didn't want to cycle as they said they will afraid they do not have such stamina to do it. But pastor said he will try it one day next time... haha, ya ya ya ... when we went for cycling, pastor and the rest went for shopping in Buxton, gosh! ...

It was a good day for such outing ^_^ Thank God for the day!

Emily's baby daughter - Alicia

Yes, this is little tiny and cute Alicia. Emily has just gave birth last month. Alicia's eyes are big, but most of the time she sleeps, so it's hard to see her big eyes :) which has made that precious when the moment you can see her eyes.

Farewell Dinner 24 Aug 2007

Time for a group of Tarcian to go back to Malaysia. 3 months of courses here in Sheffield Hallam University had soon to be ended, it's quick! When the time I settled myself in Sheffield, that's the time for them to go. I have got no chance to know them better! May God continue to shine upon them. Sis n bro, continue to serve Him in His kingdom, continue to walk with Jesus. ^_^

New LOOK under Construction

I just change the design of my blog. This is the colour I like and with white flowers decorated ^_^ But when the time I want to add a few functions, I have to do it mannually by writing the HTML. Although I learned it few years before, but when comes to java, I totally out. I have to spend my time to search for the java script, cut and paste, edit it into my blog. Phew~ So, be patient, I need a little more of time to edit my blog.

Butterfly or Moth?

Oh ya... my pet.

Saturday, when I was working in the Chinese Supermarket, Yuling texted me and told me my pet had already transformed. I read her sms and thought that she was so excited to tell me then the pet must be very beautiful. She asked me to guess what is it, a butterfly or a moth. I guessed it as a butterfly ( I wanted it to be!!!)

Yet, when i came back home. Yuling and Soo Chin shown me my pet in the transparent tupper ware. It's a MOTH!!!!!!!! Arrgghhhhhh!!!!!~~

So sad!

Then I decided to let it fly away. I opened the lid of the box and my window.

Try to make it fly away, I slowly put the tupper ware outside of the window and try to use the flower's bunch to make it fly. But it just lying down on the tupper ware, it looked like it didn't want to take the move!

Suddenly Soo Chin grabbed my hand and try to make me threw the moth away. Too bad.

It fell down on the ground outside. The floor was still wet as It was raining. I wondered whether will it be drown. But nothing i can do though.

I told Aunty Ruth that Soo Chin used my hand to throw my pet away. Aunty Ruth made fun of me and said I am cruel... wu..wu... I am innocent...

Bad Hair Day

I do not know what happen to my blog, everthing just messed up. They do not have paragraph anymore, every paragraph just linked to each other. So it looks like char siew now!!! Erggghhhhhh..!!! I tried a few times to make the settings, but it seemed like it's not working!!! Never mind, time to sleep. Thank God, not much visitor in my blog. Muahaha...!

珍珠項鍊

你聽過一個故事嗎? 我覺得很有意義, 請聽我說.

一個小女孩, 他擁有一個玩具珍珠項鍊,他很喜歡, 每天都會在臨睡前,看一看,玩一玩.

有一天,小女孩的爸爸敲了房門,
“玲玲, 爸爸可以進來嗎?”“嗯,爸爸來,” 玲玲開心的說. 爸爸開了門, 走進去,關了房門, 給了玲玲一個愛的擁抱.
“爸爸.”
“玲玲乖.” 爸爸摸了摸玲玲的頭. “玲玲在看甚麼?”
“看我的珍珠項鍊!” 玲玲揚起手中的珍珠項鍊, 眼睛發出光芒.
“好漂亮!” 爸爸說到. “玲玲最喜歡的玩具嗎?”
“嗯! 超愛的.”
“有多愛?”
“嗯...” 玲玲想了想. 將手敞開, 儘量開得大大的. “有這麼多,這麼多, 這麼多...!”
“是嗎? 哪爸爸呢? 愛不愛爸爸?”
“愛!” 玲玲想也沒有想就說.
“有多愛?”
玲玲這次又將手敞開, 開得更大了. “有這麼多,這麼多, 這麼多...!!!”
爸爸好開心. 甜進心崁里去了 “那將你愛的珍珠項鍊送給最愛的爸爸, 好嗎?”
玲玲頓時將眼睛張得大大的. 他不懂得取捨,他不知道愛爸爸需要將最愛的珍珠項鍊給爸爸.
玲玲將珍珠項鍊慢慢… 慢慢的藏在身後.
“可以嗎?” 爸爸又輕輕的問.
玲玲頭低低的, 不語. 眼淚慢慢的滑落下來. 他以為他愛珍珠項鍊, 更愛爸爸. 但是,他不可以將愛給予最愛.
他慢慢的說, “不可以...”, 玲玲給不出去.
爸爸摸了摸玲玲的頭, “沒有關係, 玲玲不要哭. 早點睡.” 爸爸親了親玲玲. 走了出去.


第二夜, 爸爸又問同樣的問題, 同樣的要求.
玲玲還是拒絕了. 他很愛很愛很愛爸爸, 爸爸要其他東西,他都可以給, 但是, 卻不是這個.


第三夜, 第四夜, 連續問了一個星期.
玲玲很困擾,是夜, 他禱告神, “親愛的天父爸爸, 我爸爸要我愛的珍珠項鍊, 可是我好喜歡. 我可以不可以給他其他的玩具? 我還有很多其他很好玩的玩具呀? 天父爸爸, 怎麼辦? 我好喜歡那條珍珠項鍊…”


一夜, 爸爸又來了.
“玲玲, 可以給爸爸你的珍珠項鍊嗎?”
這一次, 玲玲想了想. 將藏在身後的珍珠項鍊, 掏出來, 看了看. 又看了看爸爸.
將握着珍珠項鍊的手, 伸了出來. 交了出去.
“如果爸爸喜歡, 那玲玲就給爸爸吧.” 他咬了咬嘴唇.
爸爸看了看, 笑了笑. 在身後,掏出了另一條珍珠項鍊, 是真的珍珠項鍊.
拿起玲玲的另一支手, 將真的珍珠項鍊放在玲玲的手中. “給你, 因為玲玲很乖.”
玲玲看呆了眼. 因為真的珍珠項鍊太好看了. 頓時, 玲玲很難過, “ 爸爸!” 哇一聲, 抱着爸爸痛哭.
“玲玲乖,爸爸也好愛玲玲.”



诗37:5 “当将你的事交托耶和华，并倚靠他，他就必成全”. 只要將自己覺得最好的交托給天父, 他會喜悅, 并更加添給你. 神的眼光高過人的眼光, 神的意念高過人的意念.我們自己能看到的,就只有這麼短暫和膚淺. 耶穌說,“谁若愿意跟随我，该弃绝自己。”（馬16：24）交托之后的生命，已不再属自己掌管，它完全属于耶稣，耶稣是自己整个生命的掌權者。交托后的生活是在主内生活，我们不断地注视主、仰望主，聆听主随时的吩咐。我们要做主忠实的仆人，“体察什么是主所喜悦的” ，（弗5:10）

我們可以做得到嗎? 如果你自己辦做不到, 求神幫助你. 因為在腓立比書4:13記載,“我靠著那加給我力量的，凡事都能作”。因為神要將最好的給你, 是你無法看見` 預測和想像的. 舊的沒有棄舍,怎麼取得新好的呢? 因在你還在母胎里的時候,耶和華已經認識了你, 也已經為你安排了最好的. 只要你交托神, 記得, 你有選擇, 神會引領你, 賜你最好的. 只因, 神愛我們. 。“我兒，你不可輕看主的管教，被他責備的時候，也不可灰心，因為主所愛的他必管教，又鞭打所收納的兒子”. （來12:5-6）

大廚又回來啦!!!~

是地， 我"肥"來啦！ 搖呀搖, 搖到廚房去 回到我熟悉的地方， 回到我大顯身手的廚房，彷彿一切都沒有改變. 雖然，有幾道拿手好菜都忘了怎麼煮。 沒關係， 來日方長， 可以多學習。 再說， 我目前也很少時間煮飯吃。 我一個星期的時間排得滿滿的。 煮饭的机会少的又少，我也很怕油烟味， 煮一次，我要从头洗到脚，很麻烦。 如果一个人吃，更不用说，随随便便就好，会饱就可以了。 有多多人吃，我才会真的下厨。 各位弟兄姐妹，如果下次想吃什么，点菜吧！

My new pet - cat-a-pillar (Soo Chin named it)

This is my pet!!! I got it from Liwen, my colleague. She was packing the vege and suddenly the worm came out from her pocket in front of her apron. She threw it on the floor and wanted to use bloom swept it away. I caught it and I told Liwen that I want it! I kept it in a transparent lunch box, and brought it home. The first picture was the first day I brought it home. The second picture is after a few days after. It had already became cocoon.



When the first day i brought it home, i gave it daisy flower to eat, it liked it very much and keep eating. sometime I forgot to feed it, but my housemate- Yuling did it for it. Or else i think it will die of hunger, hehe. After a few days, we noticed it didn't eat again, even we touched it, it wasn't move, lazy to move and became shorter. An evening, we found out it already became cocoon, no more the green caterpillar. Hmm, when it will be butterfly? What color will it be? I am looking forward!!!

Today is Maralyn's birthday, we went to a Indian Buffet restautant at Darnall to have dinner and gathering. But I forgot the name of the restaurant. It's total 21 of us going. After having dinner,we went to Maralyn's house to chit-chat and birthday cake cutting. Hope she enjoy her birthday each year with Jesus Christ~
