Decoration for Puppet Show at SCCC

19th Oct

We've got a puppet show on 20th Oct, so we made some decoration to the church for the kid the night before. We made it until 2 midnight, gosh... I had to work at 9.30am the next day. I was so tired, but happy ^_^ Happy to participate in the team to help in decorating for the children to know Christ, and also sisters and brothers united together in Christ too.

Back from Leeds

Season plant

I do not know about plantation. But I did notice that certain period of time, certain plant appeared all around the places. I took these pictures at the end of September. I do not know what this tree and its fruits call, but it was beautiful, it was like the tree I drew when I was a kid. A tree with a few red fruits :)

Autumn is coming to town

Wearing more clothes now, everytime go out, a jacket is a must! But those British are so brave and 'tahan lazak', they can survive with short sleeve for the 10-15 celcius weather.

Louise called from Manchester airport, as a morning call to me. I was so tired last night until I did not have the 'umphhh' to wake up. But I have to, a lot of things to do and I am the worship leader for the joint services on this very Sunday.

Today also a farewell to Bro Yau Min. He is going to leave Sheffield tomorrow to Miri. Bye bye... see you too! I will remember you when I see Mashimoru

Another page of my life

Louise arrived this morning at Manchester Airport, and Aunty Ruth went to fetch her at airport. We came out for a dinner just now with Chaou Choak, Elizabeth, Uncle Andrew, Aunty Ruth and me. This is my first time to meet Uncle Andrew as well. We went out for dinner at Zing Vaa.

Louise will only stay for a week, or maybe less than a week. She arrived on this morning and will be back soon on this coming Sunday. So she doesn't have time to meet for everyone in the church, but maybe on Friday at Student Fellowship.

Birthday Dinner with colleagues from Tai Sun Oriental. We celebrated both colleagues' birthday - Julia and Sam. 13 of us attended, Ryan, Ah Fook, Ah Seng, Jordan, Sam, Ivy, Liwen, Paula, Clare, Tony, Julia,Steven and I.

Dinner with Ivy, Paula, Bee Yee and Liwen at Restaurant Steamboat at London Road. They saw me inside the Care 'R' Us and called me up and asked me to join them for dinner. So I just went and makan!!!... Hehe... Felt quite strange, because normally without prior notice I seldom joined, somemore got appointment with Elizabeth at 7.30pm. But this time I just went in and joint them. God is good... Sharing with Bee Yee and she said she will help me to check on PhD courses and funding availabilities at university. God is always good... I appreciated their helps :) I thank God for the opportunity.

Another late night shopping with Aunty Ruth, Yau Min and Elizabeth at Tesco 24 Hours. Ya... supper again at Lahore Kebab, phew~

'Real' farewell to 3 flowers + Catherine. There were 20 of us gathered in Zeugma for a dinner. Zeugma is not a big restaurant, but serves great food with a reasonable price. I will surely go back soon.

Ppl who attended on that night included Aunty Ruth, Pastor Tan, Jing Er, Nathaniel, David Sea, Li Fen, Laura, Kin Woon, Chee Ming, Yau Min, Choau Choak, Kin Liong, Uncle Hoi Sang, Jian Ye, Daniel Lee, Venus, Mei Ying, Everlyn, Skyfish, Joy, Eden, and of cox Me!!!

Wah, more than 20 of us. At first I called to make a reservation for 18 ppl at 7.45pm, but when we went there, we said we wanna add up to 20 ppl, so they asked us to wait for 10 min... wait and wait... until 8.10pm. I saw customers in restaurant had already paid the bill, but seems like no intention to go... we all so hungry and cold outside. But thank God, our tabke is the 1st table to get the food served, because we ordered it quite fast. The last table being served was Venus, Yau Min, Eden, Jian Ye, david and Li fen. They were served around 9.30pm, pity them. I did not know they did not have the food until I finished and turned around, and saw their table was empty and clean, gosh... It was busy in the restaurant though, all table and seats occupied.

Another farewell for San Yee and Yoyo. They went back to their respective countries.

Thank God I have chance to know a special sister, but we do not have time to know each other more. But God has His own timing, if God allow, we sure will meet one day, mayb not on earth, but surely in heaven. Be bold and be hold!

Had a steamboat feast at my home sweet home, it was also a farewell to 3 flowers - Mei Ying, Everlyn and Skyfish, Tarcian who will go back to Malaysia soon. That day they said they wanna pay me a visit. I looked at my house and it seemed like nothing for them to visit, so I just asked them to come and have a simple dinner... well, ya, simple, as simple as steamboat. Raw food,help youself!

I cooked Szechuan Ma La steamboat for them, by the advice from Ivy, hehe. I thought they might not have this kind of steamboat before, thank God they did not have it before and end up enjoyed it very much.
