What happened on Christmas Eve over 2000 years ago?

Today is the day of remembrance the birth of Jesus Christ to the world, as stated in Holy Bible:

... And there were shepherds living out in the fields nearby, keeping watch over their flocks at night. An angel of the Lord appeared to them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were terrified. But the angel said to them, "Do not be afraid. I bring you good news of great joy that will be for all the people. Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is Christ the Lord. This will be a sign to you: You will find a baby wrapped in cloths and lying in a manger." - Luke 2:8-12 Holy Bible (NIV)

Christ = Messiah. "The Christ" (Greek) and "the Messiah" (Hebrew) both mean "the Anointed One"; also in verse 26. This means an angel appeared to the shepherds and told them a Messiah will be born in this world!!!

But today, what happened to our world? They don't believe or maybe I should say they don't even bother? I've watched a video clip in Youtube (actually is being edited from my friend to present to a church event), the host interviews a few people on the street in US, asking what Christmas meant to you? ... most of their answer is "a time for family to gather around..." "I don't know ..."

Do you know? Or don't you bother when there is a child given by God who loves you so much, for the purpose of saving your life?

"For God so love the world He gave His only begotten Son, for whosoever believe in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life" - John 3:16

Who will send his only begotten son to die to save your life? The God father loves His Son very much, the intimacy of the relationship is far beyond our imagination, which we could not find in the earth... not here. But He willing to send Him to the earth, so that ... on the day, Jesus Christ will be crucified on the cross to cleanse your blood ... to wipe off your sin, from an innocent blood to exchange our sinful blood.

His amazing love ... do you how deep the Father's love for us?

GreenApple4sale GO GO GO

Initially started my first online boutique in the end of September 2009. Why online biz? Simple because I like to design webpage & artworks; I like to share good stuffs to friends; I like to ... move one step forward.

I've been thinking to do it long time ago, but I do not have the time (excuse!) and do not know how to start one (brain-blocked!) Until ... I started my first online "fashion" shopping in September, although it was the complicated one, because I like those clothing in Yahoo Taiwan but I do not have Taiwan credit card T_T ... until I ask my Taiwanese fren to help me on that. But I was so excited to receive those stuffs when it handed over to my hands. My first online shopping ever was a few years back, in year 2003? 2004? I can't remember, either bidding in ebay or buying some Christian books online.

It's common to buy online in UK, compares to Malaysia. From my 2 cents point of views, Royal mail is earning a lot from these parcel delivery.

Well, just writing here to present you this GreenApple4sale Online Boutique, when you are thinking to buy 100% Authentic Coach Bags, with discounted price!!! Shipping directly from USA to your door-step... Or you are thinking to buy M-XL sizes of clothing, when I found nice one available ~~

What does the Bible mean that we are not to judge others?

What does the Bible mean that we are not to judge others?

Shared via AddThis

Question: "What does the Bible mean that we are not to judge others?"

Answer: This is an issue that has confused many people. On one hand, we are commanded by the Lord Jesus, “Do not judge, or you too will be judged” (Matthew 7:1). On the other hand, the Bible also exhorts us to beware of evildoers and false prophets and to avoid those who practice all kinds of evil. How are we to discern who these people are if we do not make some kind of judgment about them?

Christians are often accused of "judging" whenever they speak out against a sinful activity. However, that is not the meaning of the Scripture verses that state, "Do not judge." There is a righteous kind of judgment we are supposed to exercise—with careful discernment (John 7:24). When Jesus told us not to judge (Matthew 7:1), He was telling us not to judge hypocritically. Matthew 7:2-5 declares, "For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you. Why do you look at the speck of sawdust in your brother's eye and pay no attention to the plank in your own eye? How can you say to your brother, ‘Let me take the speck out of your eye’ when all the time there is a plank in your own eye? You hypocrite, first take the plank out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother's eye." What Jesus was condemning here was hypocritical, self-righteous judgments of others.

In Matthew 7:2-5, Jesus warns against judging someone else for his sin when you yourself are sinning even worse. That is the kind of judging Jesus commanded us not to do. If a believer sees another believer sinning, it is his Christian duty to lovingly and respectfully confront the person with his sin (Matthew 18:15-17). This is not judging, but rather pointing out the truth in hope—and with the ultimate goal—of bringing repentance in the other person (James 5:20) and restoration to the fellowship. We are to speak the truth in love (Ephesians 4:15). We are to proclaim what God's Word says about sin. 2 Timothy 4:2 instructs us, "Preach the Word; be prepared in season and out of season; correct, rebuke and encourage — with great patience and careful instruction." We are to "judge" sin, but always with the goal of presenting the solution for sin and its consequences—the Lord Jesus Christ (John 14:6).

Happy Family

Labour Day fell on last Friday, and it was a public holiday. While I am not working Saturday and Sunday, it should be sufficient for a long rest for 3 continouus off-days. Yet, my eldest brother's whole family came all the way from Ipoh and paid us a visit. I thank God for the weekend as we spent good time together, which means no quarrel for this visit, haha...!

I think my nieces spent a very good time here with us as well as got enough shopping experiences -.-|||

Sunday evening, it was a little ex-sccc mates gathering at Lizhi's house. Lizhi, Jee Jin, Algene, Harvard, Siew Teen, Chee Ming, Yi Chuan and I had a very delicious and filling steamboat. Chee Seng and his girl-fren did not make it this time as his gf had a voice recording somewhere out-there and we hope that he could join us next time. Through-out the nite, we had steamboat, wii, PS3, web-cam with aunty ruth and the rest of them at Boomspring Lane at UK, as well as singspiration and praying session. Thank God for the time and sharing we spent together... :D Hope to meet u guys soon and may God be with you and do walk closely with him.

God Bless America

I read two news articles yesterday and today about Miss Carlifornia, the beauty queen defends gay-marriage comments. During the pageant, Hilton asked Carrie Prejean if every state should follow Vermont in legalising same sex marriage.

She replied, “I think it’s great that Americans are able to choose one or another, but in my country, and in my family, I think that I believe that marriage should be between a man and a woman. No offence to anybody out there, but that’s how I was raised.”

After the pageant, she further defended her views, “At that moment after I’d answered the question, I knew that I was not going to won because of my answer”. Still, she stands by her statements. “I don’t take back what I said,” she told Lauer, adding that she “had spoken from my heart, from my beliefs and for my God”. “It’s not about being politically correct,” she said. “For me, it’s about being biblically correct.”

Wait

Desperately, helplessly, longingly, I cried;
Quietly, patiently, lovingly God replied
I pled and I wept for a clue to my fate,
And the Master who gently said,
"Child, you must wait."

"Wait You say wait!" my indignant reply.
"Lord, I need answers, I need to know why!
Is your hand shortened? Or have you not heard?
By faith, I have asked, and am claiming your Word

"My future and all to which I can relate
Hangs in the balance, and YOU tell me to WAIT?
I'm needing a 'yes' a go-ahead sign,
Or even a 'no' to which I can resign.
"And Lord, You promised that if we believe
We need but to ask, and we shall receive.
Lord, I've been asking and this is my cry;
I'm weary of asking! I need a reply!"

Then quietly, softly, I learned of my fate.
As my Master replied once again, "You must wait."
So, I slumped in my chair, defeated and tout
And grumbled to God, "So, I'm waiting. . . for what?"

He seemed, then to kneel and His eyes wept with mine,
And he tenderly said, "I could give you a sign.
I could shake the heavens and darken the sun.
I could raise the dead and cause mountains to run.

"All you seek I could give and pleased you would be.
You would have what you want — but you wouldn't know Me.
You'd not know the depth of My love for each saint;
You'd not know the joy of resting in Me
When darkness and silence were all you could see.

"You'd never experience that fullness of love
As the peace of My Spirit descends like a dove;
You'd know that I live and I save . . . (for a start),
But you'd not know the depth of the beat of My heart.

"The glow of My comfort late into the night.
The faith that I give when you walk without sight.
The depth that's beyond getting just what you asked
Of an infinite God, who makes what you have LAST.

"You'd never know, should your pain quickly flee,
What it means that 'My grace is sufficient for Thee.'
Yes, your dreams for your loved one overnight would come true,
But, Oh the loss! If I lost what I'm doing to you!

"So be silent, my child, and in time you will see
That the greatest of gifts is to get to know Me
And though oft' may My answers seem terribly late
My most precious answer of all is still, "WAIT".

Visit to Laman Baiduri

I visited Laman Baiduri show unit today. What a discriminated experience!

The person in-charged aunty there were friendly to us when we first visited the show unit, but after a while she observed us might not be a potential customer. Her attitude changed 100% and rude to us. When I walked out from the show unit and went to the sales counter asked for prices, she pointed to the board and told me the prices were all there. When I confused with the stickers on the board, she did explained to me, but with a unfriendly attitude. The worse is when I wanted to snap a photo of the prices, she said "Sorry! You cannot take a picture of it!" ... Well, I didnt know I could not do so, but at least you can say it in a polite manner.

When we about leaving, she didnt further explain or say anything, at least a "bye".

The interior design is amazing, but the attitude of the sales person is disappointed.

RM100 "Soul-out"

Bad hair day!

In year 2007 before I left Malaysia to Sheffield, I experienced a 'terri-gible' incident with a durian trader at street, today I faced the same to a 'un-known' no balls uncle. It was really irritated to meet this kind of people. I would not say it is an argument, because there is no 'points' at all to argue, they distorted the truth and created new story.

I went to 'cheng beng' (so called remembrance of passed away relatives at grave yard for Chinese) with my mom. I accompanied my mom to go, not because I am joining them to 'worship' the people who died and buried there. But my mom wanted to go and I would go and take care of her. We care for people who is still alive, do not focus on people who died!

I told my mom we got to hurry and finish it early in the morning. My mom is old, she walks slowly and she like to touch here and there. So we went up to the hill around 7.15am. There was quite crowded yet I still managed to drive in to up hill and park my car quite near to my grandma's grave yard. For me, I would rather park far outside and walk inside because the 'road' is narrow, wet and swam. When we finished and about to leave, there are two cars, one parked behind my car and another one right back, and my left is blocked. So I asked the person who just about to leave his car from right back to move his car away so that I can leave. But he insisted to help me to guide me, to drive out the car between the narrow path. So since they would want to guide me, so I took the offer and listen to his instruction. Too bad! When they asked me to drive near to the car near left to me, and asked me to drive backward, they said ok to drive backward, yet he forgot to help me to see my front car which was so near to the left car. Here it happened! I walked of the car and asked the guy to help to drive instead of giving 'kind' instructions. The guy said 'ok, but wait for me to put my things and I will be back'. He left...

The owner of the car that my car scratched, walked near to us and ...well, you know. They wanted compensation in terms of cash. I really did not know whether the scratches on his car, is new or old. So I just making a statement, "But I am not sure whether is this new or old!" "Can I pay you RM50 rather than RM100?" These were the questions I threw to the owner of the car.

When we were still bargaining for the compensation, suddenly there was a 'uncle' walked passing besides me and said "if you would pay for RM50 better dont pay". Well, I took the 'advice' and answered him, "oh ok, then dont pay then." and sat back into my car about to leave. But suddenly that 'uncle' scolded us not giving money, swore and cursed, and spoke 'bad' words to my mom and I. We was like "what?"... My mom scolded him back for his faulty words, and he scolded even more faulty words and swore to the sky. Gosh... and he said he wanted to use his car to bang my car and did some kind of posture to kick my car. I was like, is he so called 'Malaysian'? 'Chinese'? 'Civilised'? 'Aging uncle'? Poor him ... shamed on him. He started to say we didn't want to pay the compensation and argued that we did not do that scratches. People surrounding all sided to him and asked us to pay. Most of them are his relatives and friends, if not mistaken. But anyway, he is really ... I could not described or named this creature of the earth. I find no words to name 'it'. Adam named all the animals on this earth, but I really not sure whether is 'it' included.

There was no point of arguing with them, because they were all uncivilised. I asked the owner of the car, "is he your friend?" The owner of the car didnt say anything, is he or is he not? Or even worst, we all did not know him. Where did he burst out from? I paid to the owner of the car, and I said loudly "Sorry yah, pai seh yah!" to the owner. When I about to leave the area, I turned back to the crowd and said 'Sorry yah everyone, if anything offended!" No point of arguing, I would rather use 'apologise' to slap their faces... and sadly, I bought their souls and pride with two pieces of RM50- RM100. What the earth!!!

What are those creatures? One day, they will definitely have to face what they had done on this earth in front of God, every scene will re-play in front of them and before God. How would they face it and feel? Will they ever realise what they have done?

On the way out of the hill, I told my mom. They lost the balance/standard of good and bad, right and wrong. "Do you know how good is good, and how bad is bad? What right is considered right, and what wrong is considered wrong?" "I dont know" "It was all written in the Bible. But people just ignored it and turned away from the truth."

Do not repay anyone evil for evil. Be careful to do what is right in the eyes of everybody. If it is possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone. Do not take revenge, my friends, but leave room for God's wrath, for it is written: "It is mine to avenge; I will repay," says the Lord. On the contrary: "If your enemy is hungry, feed him; if he is thirsty, give him something to drink. In doing this, you will heap burning coals on his head." Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.~ Romans 12:17-21

"God, please forgive them, for what they had done, they didn't know..."

Busy

Satan called a worldwide convention of demons. In his opening address he said, "We can't keep Christians from going to church."
"We can't keep them from reading their Bibles and knowing the truth."
"We can't even keep them from forming an intimate relationship with their saviour."
"Once they gain that connection with Jesus, our power over them is broken."
"So let them go to their churches; let them have their covered dish dinners, BUT steal their time, so they don't have time to develop a relationship with Jesus Christ.."
"This is what I want you to do," said the devil:

"Distract them from gaining hold of their Saviour and maintaining that vital connection throughout their day!"
"How shall we do this?" his demons shouted.
"Keep them busy in the non-essentials of life and invent innumerable schemes to occupy their minds," he answered.
"Tempt them to spend, spend, spend, and borrow, borrow, borrow."
"Persuade the wives to go to work for long hours and the husbands to work 6-7 days each week, 10-12 hours a day, so they can afford their empty lifestyles."
"Keep them from spending time with their children."
"As their families fragment, soon, their homes will offer no escape from the pressures of work!"
"Over-stimulate their minds so that they cannot hear that still, small voice."
"Entice them to play the radio or cassette player whenever they drive."
To keep the TV, VCR, CDs and their PCs going constantly in their home and see to it that every store and restaurant in the world plays non-biblical music constantly."
"This will jam their minds and break that union with Christ."
"Fill the coffee tables with magazines and newspapers."
"Pound their minds with the news 24 hours a day."
"Invade their driving moments with billboards."
"Flood their mailboxes with junk mail, mail order catalogs, sweepstakes, and every kind of newsletter and promotional offering free products, services and false hopes.."
"Keep skinny, beautiful models on the magazines and TV so their husbands will believe that outward beauty is what's important, and they'll become dissatisfied with their wives. "
"Keep the wives too tired to love their husbands at night."
"Give them headaches too! "
"If they don't give their husbands the love they need, they will begin to look elsewhere."
"That will fragment their families quickly!"
"Give them Santa Claus to distract them from teaching their children the real meaning of Christmas."
"Give them an Easter bunny so they won't talk about his resurrection and power over sin and death."
"Even in their recreation, let them be excessive."
"Have them return from their recreation exhausted."
"Keep them too busy to go out in nature and reflect on God's creation.
Send them to amusement parks, sporting events, plays, concerts, and movies instead." "Keep them busy, busy, busy!"
"And when they meet for spiritual fellowship, involve them in gossip and small talk so that they leave with troubled consciences."
"Crowd their lives with so many good causes they have no time to seek power from Jesus."
"Soon they will be working in their own strength, sacrificing their health and family for the good of the cause."
"It will work!"
"It will work!"
It was quite a plan!

The demons went eagerly to their assignments causing Christians everywhere to get busier and more rushed, going here and there.
Having little time for their God or their families.
Having no time to tell others about the power of Jesus to change lives.
I guess the question is, has the devil been successful in his schemes?
What do you think?

Does "BUSY" mean: B-eing U-nder S-atan's Y-oke?

Steven & Ivy's Wedding Dinner in Alor Setar

After 3 years of marriage and one successful production in making human-being, they had their Malaysia Millennium Wedding Dinner at Alor Setar on 28 Feb 2009 (Saturday).

The venue deco is superb, 'bo wa kong'. They hired a balloon deco agency from Penang to do this, well, I can say it was worthy. I've got their contact just after the event. Anyone interest, you can get the contact from me!

Also, BIG thank you to Ivy. We were lost in Kuala Kedah, but the venue is in another place. So, Ivy was actually wearing the bridal gown, sit in the car which her friend was driving, meeting us up at the mosque and brought us to the destination. I was so impressed and pleased of she has done to her friends. Who able to do this?

I was about to sing them a song in the wedding dinner. But after second attempts on stage, the mission declared unaccomplished. pai seh Ivy! Due to the mission unaccomplished, I was not able to finish my script on stage. Here I want to finish it. I want to thank you Ivy in taking good care of me all the while when I was in UK. She is very dedicated and lovely all the time. Whenever I asked for a favor, she never say no to me. But I was the one who always taking for granted and made her angry and disappointed. Sorry Ivy!

May God continue to grant you extra strength, wisdom and patience to go through your daily life. I wish you all the best and I would like to see you laugh out loud from your bottom of your heart everyday, with true rejoice and peace from Lord Jesus Christ.

I am not a person who able to express my gratitude well. :)

After struggling for a long while, I am back home to Malaysia.

My family was happy to see me back, but I left my heart in Sheffield. If anyone found my heart in Sheffield, please let me know and post it back to me. I might left it somewhere in SCCC.

Dublin & Belfast

Thank God for the good weather throughout the days at Ireland. Although it was cold, well, where else is not cold in UK in winter time. Good weather in my own philosophy as in 'not raining day'.

We travelled a lot in Ireland, from South Ireland to North Ireland, and then from North again to the South, phew~ But thank God for the journey mercy. And most importantly, I want to thank Kan Yeep's friend - Sushi, for her hospitality and caring. Sob sob... God bless you.

Farewell cum New Year Eve: Student Fellowship

Time to say goodbye, again. I told them I didn't tell most of them that I am leaving, because this is my second time of leaving. Who knows I will have third and fourth? Haha... My family will faint if they hear this.

I was invited by pastor to have dinner at his house a week before. I thought it is a simple family cum farewell dinner. That morning, I went to Leeds on Thursday for shopping and dinner at pastor's house in the evening. When we were having our dinner, well, in about 10 minutes. We heard knocks on the door, si mu answered the door and yet the knocks kept continue. Then si mu came in and told Chee Ming that "They want you to answer the door." Just a little while, I heard shouting from the door, and almost all bro and sis from student fellowship was gathered outside in a cold weather and wait to come inside. They brought foods and smiled when they came in and joint us for the dinner. From a small family dinner around 14 persons became buffet farewell dinner for about 30 more bro n sis.

After dinner, they made four of us sitting in front row and watched a farewell video clip made by a group of bro n sis. Thanks for the efforts and time! Do appreciate it. Again, thank you for the words shared in the farewell party, we all are cracked-pot, same... but God glue us together again and again from pieces, never give up on us even we cracked until scattered everywhere. Jesus use His blood to glue us back into one piece again...
