Yesterday at the end of the student fellowship, a few brothers told a group of new-comer who are from China, that yesterday was Independece Day for Malaysia and would like to sing National Song at the end of bible study. They were very insterested and all sitting in hall to wait for fellow brothers to sing for them. They are so cute!
So those sisters and brothers from Malaysia who finished bible study earlier, have to stand in front to sing "NegaraKu". But as they are too 'smart' and study too long in UK, they actually forgot how to sing their national song. Then Choau Choak wrote it down the lyric for them.
After we sang it, they asked us to translate what we just sang. Hmm, good question. They tried to explain, but found out that a lot of words we do not know the meaning. Can you believe? The bunch of post-graduate... ish ..ish...ish...
But, seriously, when you sing National song, do you know the meaning of whole song? And ... do you mean it? :)
